GroundCheck is built for safety managers handling site records, not for advertising. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
GroundCheck is developed by RT Sullivan Consulting Ltd. ("we," "us"). This policy covers the GroundCheck iOS app and groundcheck.app.
When you sign in, we collect your email address to create your account and send magic-link sign-in emails. We also store your organisation name and your role (Inspector, Supervisor, or Admin) within that organisation.
Photos, videos, and the inspection responses you record (checklist answers, corrective actions, notes, EPC assessment data) are stored so your organisation's records are available across devices and over time.
With your permission, we record GPS coordinates at the time an inspection is captured, so records can be tagged with the site location for compliance purposes. You can decline location access; inspections still work without it.
Camera access is used to capture inspection photos and to run on-device AI hazard detection. Photo library access is used only if you choose to save or import photos. Hazard detection runs entirely on your device — images are not sent anywhere for this analysis.
Inspection data is stored locally on your device first, so the app works fully offline. When your device has connectivity, records sync to our backend (Supabase, a hosted Postgres/storage provider) so your team sees the same up-to-date records.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Nothing you record is shared outside your organisation except as described above.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us below. Deleting your account removes your profile and, where you're the last member of an organisation, that organisation's records.
GroundCheck is a business tool for construction and safety teams and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where required, notify you in the app.
